Perennial with woolly, divided leaves and bright yellow ‘sunflowers’ in early summer. The flowers truly shine and are very attractive to pollinators. 1-2 ft tall. Needs full sun and well-drained, rocky soil with limited to no summer water. Cut back after flowering to renew the foliage. Semi-evergreen. Drought and deer resistant. From the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains.
