A dense deciduous shrub, with coppery toned new growth maturing to deep green, and reddish in fall. Large, deep pink flowers bloom early to mid summer. Cut back hard in later winter or early spring to control size if needed. Grows to 2-3′ high and wide. Best in sun to partial shade, any well-drained soil.
