A selected form of a Midwest to Eastern columbine. Little Lanterns grows 10″ tall and spreads to 12″ wide. The yellow throated red flowers bloom mid-spring. Best in rich, moist soil, in sun to partial shade. Will self-seed to form colonies. Leaf miner is rarely a problem- cut to the ground if the foliage begins to look tattered.
