A Spanish variety that is self-fertile and fairly early ripening. An evergreen tree, it grows to 10′-15′ in many years, with soft gray, willow shaped leaves. Needs a warm site, against a south or west wall is best, with well-drained soil. May not ripen fruit in cooler PNW sites, but still has ornamental value.
