Large architectural semi-evergreen foliage on this spreading perennial growing 3-4′ tall. Tall flower spikes in summer with tubular white flowers and purple hoods. Sun to part shade. Drought and deer resistant, tolerant of most soils except very wet. May go summer dormant if dry. Mulch roots to protect from extreme cold, but generally hardy in Whatcom county. This very tough plant makes a strong statement in the garden.
