A smaller growing maple cultivar grown for its brilliant spring of scarlet red. The small, irregularly shaped leaves fade to pinkish-red with green undertones in the summer, often returning to scarlet in the fall. Mature size of 8′-10′ high, can grow wider than tall. Sun- part shade.
