Douglas Maple

Native to southeastern Alaska south to northern California, east to British Columbia, Alberta, Idaho and Montana. Slow growing, to 40′ at maturity. Light green leaves turn shades of yellow in fall. Full sun to partial shade. Best in rich, well-drained soil.
