Early Red Flowering Currant

Native deciduous shrub, with maple like leaves and late winter blooms of pinkish red, 1-2 weeks earlier than the species. Upright habit, growing to 10′-12′ if unpruned, prefers well drained soil and partial shade to sun. Hummingbirds love the flowers!
