Low Bush Penstemon

Shrubby evergreen to semi-evergreen penstemon found mostly on the east side of the Cascades. Lavender to purple trumpet shaped flowers bloom in mid to late spring. Grows to 12″ high, spreads to 18″-24″ wide. Best in full sun, sharply drained soils with gravel mulch.
