A non-invasive semi-evergreen or deciduous broom with silvery trifoliate leaves. Often multi-stemmed to 15′ tall, 10′ wide, can be kept smaller with pruning. Cones of yellow flowers appear in late spring-early summer with a spicy, pineapple like fragrance. Grows best with minimal summer irrigation once established in poor, rocky soils. Full sun, tolerant of reflected heat.
