Native perennial onion grows 1-2′ with nodding pink to white flowers held above the foliage in mid-summer. Commonly found on rocky bluffs in the wild, well-drained soil with plenty of sun. The entire plant tastes like garlic and is edible. Drought and deer resistant. Self-seeds if happy.
