Along with Western Red Cedar, Sitka Spruce was one of the most common lowland conifers a century ago. Can tolerate wet soil. Slow to moderate growth rate, growing 8″-12″ per year. Eventually to 80-180′ tall. Sun to part shade, deer resistant.
