Arching stems lined with pendulous flower buds in fall, opening to soft yellow flowers in early spring. ‘Magpie’ has leaves with creamy yellow margins. Best with afternoon shade to avoid leaf burn. Grows 5-8′, summer moist soil. Fantastic and unusual in the woodland garden or at the back of the border.
