A hybrid flowering cherry with fragrant white or pinkish flowers, followed by small sour cherries enjoyed by birds. Upright spreading form to 30′. Bronze-yellow fall color. Needs consistent moisture, tolerates most well-drained soils. Famously planted around the tidal basin in Washington D.C.
