Growing Stone Fruits

Cherries, peaches, apricots, and plums: Growing stone fruit can be both challenging and rewarding in our maritime climate. This class will dive deeper into the physiology of stone fruit trees. We will discuss pruning and training styles, pest and disease issues, and overall care for the highest quality fruit. Take a tour of the orchards to see examples of mature trees and training styles and get hands-on experience pruning and scouting for pests and diseases with professionals. (Just starting out?
